They call me Peaches.

My name is Peaches. At least, that's what I go by online. Or Miss Peach. Or the Princess Peach. I'm really not picky as long as it has Peach in it. I love that name, and no, it's not based off the character from Mario. In fact, I didn't even think of that until someone pointed it out. And even then...

I wear a pink trench coat everywhere I go. A bright pink trench coat. It's my signature. It's how people know me. They point me out in the halls. Some of them only know me by my coat. It's pretty darn noticeable. That was where I got the idea for this name. I can't count how many times people have referred to me as the "Girl in the Pink Coat".

I live in Cowtown, Alberta. No, that's not the actual name of the place, but it's pretty accurate. We're pretty awesome, with our cowboys and Old West themed restaurants. We've also got a lot of fields, farmers and snow. I hate snow. We're in the middle of a blizzard right now, and I haven't left the house in two days because it's so cold outside.I've been sitting in my pajamas, knitting, eating soup and watching reruns of CSI, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Merlin. Supplemented by a great deal of hot chocolate and tea.

I love to knit. It's a pretty relaxing hobby, and it keeps me calm (which is very important, trust me on that). Right now, I'm working on a fish blanket, a knot stitch blanket, a Jayne Cobb hat and two scarves. Yay for knitting! I also like to eat, cook, doing computery things, read, listen to music, sing and be awesome. This blog is going to be about all of those things. Perhaps even at the same time. In fact, there may be even more awesome stuff added sometimes.

I have a boyfriend. We'll refer to him as H. He's sweeter than candy on a stick. I swear, if I cut that boy open, he'd bleed maple syrup. Anyways, H. may make an appearance occasionally. Well, not him, but stories about him. He's a wee bit strange, but I don't mind. He's my strange boyfriend and I wouldn't trade him for all the yarn in the world (unless it was mohair. Then I might consider it.).

If you still happen to be awake after my little blurb, then I bid you welcome. Have fun, enjoy and I hope you have a couple of laughs (or very manly giggles) while you make your way through these posts. And since they all come out of my head, I hope you come out sane. Or mostly sane.
